NIT mein admission lene k liye aapko pehle JEE MAIN ka cutoff clear krna padega. Cutoff har saal change hota hai. Generally cutoff 100-115 marks rehta hai. Lekin jab aap gen category se belong karte ho toh kam se kam 140 marks chahiye jisme aapko NIT mein admission mil jayega lekin agar top NIT chahiye toh aapko 240 above score karna padega.

It is difficult to predict the cut off marks for CSE branch as it differs as per the NITs. 

You should try to score more then 130 marks in JEE Main exam to get admission in NITs in general category other state quota. 

 

You should always set your aim high. Try to score more then 230 marks in JEE Main exam to get CSE branch in top NITs to get good teaching and placements. 

JEE Main is one of the competitive level exam so you should paln your preparation accordingly.
