Seats for admission to MBBS and BDS (subject to allotment by "Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India") are available through KSB for widows and wards of categories of Defence personnel in the following order of priority:

1. Widows/Wards of Defence personnel killed in action.
2. Wards of disabled in action and boarded out from service.
3. Widows/Wards of Defence personnel who died while in service with death attributable to military service.
4. Wards of disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service.Wards of Ex-Servicemen and serving personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards:-

• Vir Chakra
