There is no single answer to this question as different colleges have different rules about attendance for example so colleges have very strict attendance policy which states that you need minimum 75% attendance to qualify for examinations if your college have this policy then you will have to attend classes most of the time  while some colleges do not give much priority to the attendance ,

The answer to the second also depends on college if you have daily classes doing a regular job will be very hard for you .
