No, admission to BSc Maths(Hons) is purely based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

Eligibility Criteria;Candidates needs to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with50% marks in Mathematics and an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. The Merit shall be determined on the basis of one language, Mathematics and two best elective /academic subjects
