Photo id proof can be aadhar card, driving license, pan card, voter ID card etc

No, it's not compulsory but keeping aadhar card with you is a safest option for counseling. Whatever ID proof you have mentioned you can carry that with you in case of doubt otherwise it's not a compulsion to use same ID proof. Any government authorized ID proof will work for you.

Documents required at the time of counseling are

• Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
• NEET admit card 2021
• NEET result 2021 or rank card
• 6-8 passport-sized pictures
• Valid, non-expired, and government-issued photo ID proof
• Certificate of Caste (if applicable)
• Certificate of Disabilities (if applicable)
• Provisional allotment letter
