VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) does not have a female-only reservation policy. However, VIT University provides particular privileges for female candidates, such as scholarships or fee reductions.

The admission process at VIT is primarily based on merit, i.e., the rank obtained in the VITEEE exam. However, some relaxation is offered for specific categories:

SC/ST candidates: Need a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology (while General category candidates need 60%).

Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and North Eastern states also get similar relaxation.
