St Xavier's College is an UGC approved and NAAC accredited grade A college located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. It was established in 1944.

The college offers a number of undergraduate, postgraduate as well as vocational courses. For all UG admission there is no entrance examination and ia merit based. However the college conducts entrance examinations for PG admission.

The eligibility criteria for getting admission in BSc here is that the candidate should have passed higher secondary examination with a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks and also have secured 50% marka in that particular subject of streams.
