Statistics is going to be in demand in next few years. With Big Data and Business Analytics industry booming, there would be a lot of demand for data scientists.

With a bachelor's in Statistics, you could either join Analytics Industry or go for a higher degree in this field(more recommended) do your Masters in Statistics, preferably from a good college (read ISI, IIT, DU etc).

Business Analytics and Data Sciences sector, freshers from a good college can earn around 7 LPA on average.
