Hello aspirant,

With reference to your above query , I will discuss about the lateral entry in Marine Engineering .

The Eligibility for the same is :

(a)You should be Pass in 12th Standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%.

(b) You must have secured minimum 50% marks in English language in 10th or 12th standard exam.

If you want to join Marine Engineering , you can join 2nd year of 4-Year Marine Engineering Degree Course if you have passed 3 years Diploma Course, in addition to the three years regular Diploma Course in Mechanical/ Electrical /Electrical & Electronics Engineering .
