Every year LIC conducts Exam for the recruitment on various posts of LIC. This exam was scheduled to be held from April, 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic, the exams got postponed and the new dates for the exams have not been announced yet. However there is a possibility that LIC will conduct the exam in upcoming months.

It is really hard to predict the targets and salary of an LIC agent. It totally depends upon you Superior how much has been assigned to you. Only an LIC employee can tell you this. But Yes, LIC jobs are stressful, not only LIC jobs, policy selling jobs are very very difficult.

Here's the complete process how to become an LIC agent-

1. Visit your nearest LIC branch office and meet development officer with mandatory documents

2. The officer will take your interview and after that you will undergo for a basic training procedure

3. After training, a pre- recruitment exam will be conducted by IRDAI.

4. You will have to score minimum 35 percent to become a LIC insurance agent.

5. Then you can strat working under your development officer. He/She will tell you about the targets and incentives.
