Generally, 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 GFTIs participate in JoSAA counselling and seat allotment procedure.

Note : JoSAA counselling can be done on the basis of the college preference that the candidate have filled up during the process of counselling as well as merit basis.
