In the first year of Mcom there is 3 compulsory subjects and 1 optional subject for the first year. If you have taken marketing management which is a compulsory subject of m com 1st year.You have to choose one optional subject from the list in a enlisted in the syllabus. Then the total subjects of Mcom first year will be of 4. Choice of optional subjects depends on the students interest and ability. There is no specialisation of marketing management subject in m com 1st year or 2nd year. So you have to take marketing management in Mcom first year as compulsory subject.
