JEE ADVANCED is not necessary for having a seat at NIT. As you have a good rank then surely you have the chances to get a seat. After jee main there will be counselling and through that process you can get your seat.

Hope you are doing great there . First of all congratulations for such an amazing rank . Yes , you can easily get a seat in NIT . You should note that the counselling of JEE Mains and JEE Advance are held differently , and both are totally independent of each other . Therefore your JEE Advance score will not affect your seat in NIT by any means , that is you will get a seat in NIT even if you do not get a seat in JEE Advance .
