What if I qualify in mains and get admission in NIT,IIITetc and now I give JEE advance and I failed so will I lose my seat in the college I got admission in like as mentioned above in IIT or any NIT?

The counselling for admissions in IITs, NITs, GFTIs is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority ( JoSAA) in a single platform.It will be conducted after the results of JEE Main and JEE Advanced results are concluded. Candidates need to fill JEE main details or JEE Advanced details accordingly.So if you have not qualified in JEE Advanced you can still participate in JoSAA counseling if you qualify in JEE main and can get admission in NITs or IIITs.
If a candidate qualifies in JEE Main and fails in JEE Advanced then the candidate is not eligible to get admission in IITs. But he/she is eligible to take admission in NITs and IIITs on the basis of JEE Main scores.
