Hello Aspirant.
It completely depends on the interest of candidate whether he/she wants to pursue a course of BSc or BTech.
If you're eligible for Biotechnology from an NIT then it's a great option and if you're eligible for BSc from BHU that's a great option too. But if you want to go ahead in research then you must go for BSc and incase you want to get into a technical field then you can go for biotechnology.
Both courses and colleges are esteemed and cannot be compared. Both excel in themselves.
