There is no such course named as Optimetry, it is "OPTOMETRY". Admissions in the optometry courses are done on the basis of marks scored in class 12th nd in NEET examination as well.  It is not necessary to pass NEET exam for admisisons into optometry courses but you must know about the admission procedure of the colleges you are targeting for admissions.

As the board examinations are about to held in few months along with NEET so after that the dmisisons will be done.  Till then prepare well and know everything about optimetry course.
