Dear Chirag, because this is the pilot year for EWS reservation, we are yet to see how it unfolds. But EWS reservation takes its cut from General Category. But MCI has approved increasenin medical seats across India which means additoonal candidates will be accomodated. Having said that 44,000 rank is too high for a seat in All India Counselling. To know your chances in All India Counselling, log on to the website, go to home page, and go to medical counselling. Open Undergraduate and open composite list. From the information present there you will see you will get an idea of the pattern of previous years. It is also available in downloadable pdf format. This list will have Closing and Opening ranks along with Category ranks too.This will give you an idea of which colleges you might have a shot at. In State Counselling, you may have a chance at GMC Khandwa, GMC Ratlam, GMC Vidisha, GMC Datla among others. We shall help you with the link which has cut offs of various colleges of MP according to 2018 cut off. You can compare your options from All India Counselling and State Counselling and then take a call. Because EWS reservation might fall between General and OBC, have a look at both the Category ranks. This is just a porbable solution but doesnt guarantee a seat based on the previous year's list.
