The field of biotechnology has a great scope in India but it is still under development it is not yet fully developed in India though India is one of the top 10 countries for biotechnology.

Scope always increases with the better college you are in ,you should really aim for IISER and IISC.

You can also go abroad for study in biotechnology or related biological science fields the scope outside India in countries like Canada, USA, Germany, France,  Japan is better.

if you are really interested in this and you should therefore postgrad minimum and a PhD in the field because the companies of the institutes that hire always look for experienced professional, there are many exams that you can give to pursue a BSc in biotechnology,
