If you want to get admission in NITs or IIITs through jee mains then as per eligibility criteria you need to have atleast an aggregate of 75% in class 12th board exams or your marks need to be under top 20 percentile of your respective board but for sc and st category students you need to score atleast an aggregate of 65% in class 12th board exams.

To get low rank NITs you should score atleast 150 marks in jee mains.To get top NITs you should score more than 220 marks in jee mains.

To get good nits you have to score more than 180 in mains but if u get 130-150 marks then u get some good colleges.

                     According to JOSAA norms, if you are belonging to general /Obc category, you should have 75% in your 12 pcm & for sc/St category 65%..
