When you fail in 12th and then again appear in examination, then you appear for it as a private candidate . And as a private candidate you are eligible for neet. And it doesn't matter even if you have failed twice i. e in 2019 and 2020 .

This is because,

The case of eligibility of private candidates for Neet examination is in Supreme Court but until the supreme court gives its judgement, private candidates are  eligible for Neet examination, so one is eligible for neet as a private candidate in 12th provided they must have got:-

• at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  Begin a career in Medical and Allied Sciences. Admissions Open for

  Apply to Emversity Allied Health Sciences programs

  Apply Now

  Recommended

• at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

• at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.

Yes of course you will be eligible but only when you pass your class 12th with 50% aggregate marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, 40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwD certificate holders and also you should have passed in English subject. This is because there is no upper age limit for NEET but there is minimum age limit for NEET which is 17 years which means that if you want to appear for NEET 2021 the you must have completed your 17 years on December 31st 2021,

If we talk about latest update on NEET 2021 then, as of now ONLY THE REGISTRATION WEBSITE HAS BEEN DEVELOPED for NEET UG 2021 but there is no update regarding NEET UG 2021 Application form. However it is expected soon as the registration website is already developed so now we have to wait for it's launch, the further information will be published soon on the official website as given below :-

Also the discussions are being carried out on national level regarding postponement of NEET as well so we have to wait for any decision by the competent authorities.
