It is not that pursuing MBA from a private Institute is far better than Government. Institutes like IIMs are pure example of it. The only point of difference is that not everyone can make it to the IIMs. Then Doing a MBA from private University makes sense because the faculties and the infrastructure is maintained. Also, the curriculum of private universities is better than public universities. One can also do it in the public universities but the opportunities and exposure would be less. It is of no doubt that the Top management Institutes of the country are Public Universities but getting admission into them is very tough as well. So, I would say if you are able to crack admissions in these top public Universities then you should go for government otherwise opt for medium level private universities with good facilities and mainly faculties.
