Hi according to your rank in EWS category you can get NIT but that NIT will be lower most NIT and there also you may have to sacrifice your needed branch you may have to satisfy yourself with most probably core engineering banches or lower branches like Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical etc. You may try this once otherwise it will be better if you go for any GFTI.
