I hope you are doing well, about your question, I want you to recheck your rank card again to make sure its not registered.

The only probability is that your process did not go through for ews registration or perhaps due to some fault it got rejected.

On the rank card you will be under some categories perhaps in general. You will have to go proceed with that category only.
