Based on previous year trends for CLAT OBC category:

• Top NLUs like NLSIU Bengaluru and NALSAR Hyderabad usually close OBC seats with ranks around 1200–1500.

• Middle NLUs like NLIU Bhopal, WBNUJS, NLU Jodhpur, GNLU, HNLU generally close OBC seats in the range of 1300–3000, sometimes up to 4000.

• Lower-ranked or newer NLUs, especially in later rounds, have seen OBC closing ranks above 5000–8000.

With your OBC rank of 5303:

• It is very unlikely to get a seat in top or middle NLUs in early rounds.

• You may have a chance in later rounds or at lower-ranked NLUs if seats remain vacant.

• There is no guarantee, but it is worth participating in all counselling rounds and filling your choices.
