Established in 1854, College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) is a public/ government college that is autonomous in nature. It is one of the oldest colleges in Asia that is aimed at offering quality education in the fields of Engineering and Technology.

Presently, over 725 and 342 students are enrolled in the courses offered by the college at UG and PG level, respectively.

COEP admission to each course is done through a specific selection criteria as directed by Savitribai Phule Pune University.

About 79.3% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 33.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA.

All facilities are available like Wi-Fi, etc., and COEP labs have all the equipment. All the classrooms were equipped with digital teaching facilities.

The library is open 24x7 along with two drawing halls to study.

All the teachers are from IITs and are well qualified, helpful and knowledgeable.

The hostel is the best for girls, but boys have to stay in old hostel buildings.
