Hello,

The admissions in IITs are totally based on the score of JEE Advanced examination. The eligibility criteria to get into any IIT is:

1. The candidate should have passed 12th examination with a minimum aggregate of 75%

2. The candidate should have obtained the required cutoff score in JEE Advanced exam.

3. The candidate should have obtained minimum 10% marks in each subject in JEE Advanced Exam and satisfy the minimum percentage of marks required to get in IITs, which vary every year.

To get into any of the IITs, the cutoff score is always greater than 200. If one is from general category, then the candidate needs to get AIR less than 2500 to get in IITs.

Best Wishes.
