M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS), created by an act in the State of Karnataka, India, came into existence in December 2013.

It is UGC Approved, NIRF-MHRD Ranked and AICTE approved private university in Karnataka.

The computer science engineering dean of faculty is Prof. H. K. Narahari.

Head of the department is Prof. N.D. Gangadhar.
