Dear student,

An MSc in CS program will typically focus on the computer, computing science and the software applications which run on multiple computing platforms.

MSc CS will strengthen your in-depth skills for both hardware and software related to computers.

An MSc in IT program, on the other hand, will usually focus on the practical aspects of computing and meeting the needs of the computer’s end users.

MSc IT will strengthen your skills for Programming, Networks, Cyber Security and managing the same in an IT environment.

Both of these courses are somehow equivalent in case of jobs and scope. Job chances in renowned Software companies are equally good for MSc(IT) and MSc(CS).

So, performing well in the exams and average good marks play enough big role to avail a satisfactory job in the software market.

Scopes are ample in both of the courses if you look deeply in the placement scenarios of the companies. So, don't think too much for jobs you just complete the course you want with good score. Jobs will be automatically come for you.

I hope you find it useful.

All the Best!
