Let me tell you about this college and you will get a clearer picture of this college.



Faculty



There are some good faculties , average faculties and below average faculties. So, overall the faculties are just average, nothing great about them. But we do have occasional guest lectures which are good if you're interested in becoming an entrepreneur.



Infrastucture



We have recently ( In sep 2017) shifted to a new building . The classrooms here are smaller than the previous building. There are CCTV cameras in all the class rooms and corridors. An added benefit to this new building is the underground parking facility ( which is under progress ) . Library has a lot of materials for reference .



Fees



It is 6.9 L (201719 ) as of now which will include your uniforms (3 sets) your exam fees, laptop ( useless , we got a stupid laptop with intel pentium inside) , some local industrial visit and study materials.



Summer Intership



If you're lucky and good enough you'll get good internship. Only Goldman sachs and Deloitte provide good intership with attractive stipend , the rest are all just ordinary companies providing stepends as low as 1000rs and some companies with no stipend.



Placements



Placements are good . if you're lucky youll get placed in a good company with a good salary package. But then, there are a few companies which promise good salary at the time of placement and doesnt give the promised salary once they start working. The college just wants good figures so they will make sure you get placed somewhere. Whether you get the salary or you get the job doesnt matter to them. Some companies come for placement just for the name sake. Theyll give you job offers but youll never hear from there after your final exams. If youre lucky enough youll get a genuine job. Companies like Deloitte, E&Y, GS etc offer comparitively low salary packages but atleast they are genuine companies.



College rules



This is the most important part. The college is not for you if you believe in your fundamental rights. You will have no freedom of speech . Everything is under the control of dean . You are not even allowed to keep a beard . There will be checking in front of the entrance everyday to see if youve come in clean shave or not. ( No, Im not making that up) . Dress code have to be strictly followed. 85% attendence is compulsory ( anything below that, theyll charge you heavy fines , as much as rs1000/sub and yeah there are 10 subs per sem) . Classes are from 9:00 to 5:15 ( May go upto 7:15) monday to friday and 9:00 to 3:15 ( may go upto 5:15 ) on saturdays. If you dont go by the rules, theyll threaten you by saying that youll not be allowed for placements.
