Hello there,

With a 94 percentile in JEE Mains, you have several options:

  1. NITs : You may get branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical in lower-ranked NITs, especially under the Home State Quota .

  2. IIITs : You could secure a seat in newer IIITs like IIIT Pune or IIIT Vadodara .

  3. State Government Colleges : Apply through state counseling for good chances, especially in non-circuit branches .

  4. Private Colleges : Institutions like VIT , SRM , and Manipal may offer opportunities based on your JEE score.

Suggestion: Participate in JoSAA counseling and explore state and private universities for better chances of admission. Focus on branches like Mechanical , Civil , and Electrical .

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

Hello,

With 94 marks in JEE Main , your percentile would be approximately between 85–88 , depending on the session difficulty. This is not enough for top NITs or IIITs in general categories, but you still have good options , especially in:

1. State Government Colleges (Through JEE or State Counseling):

You can explore colleges in your home state that accept JEE Main scores with lower cutoffs, such as:

  • DTU, NSUT (Delhi) – through JAC Delhi (lower chance at CSE, but possible in other branches if reserved quota)

  • Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh

  • Colleges in MP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, UP, Odisha – many state gov. colleges accept JEE Main scores.

2. Good Private Colleges (Accepting JEE Main Score):

These colleges offer solid placements and accept students with scores in your range:

  • Shiv Nadar University (Greater Noida)

  • UPES Dehradun

  • LNCT Bhopal

  • VIT Bhopal (through VITEEE or JEE Main)

  • Jaypee Institutes (Noida, Guna, Solan)

  • NIIT University (Neemrana, Rajasthan)

3. Universities with Separate Entrance but Accepting JEE Scores Too:

  • Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham

  • SRM University (Chennai, AP, NCR campuses)

  • Manipal University (MAHE) – mainly through MET, but JEE accepted for some seats

  • Chandigarh University

4. Suggestions Based on Branch Preference:

If you're aiming for CSE/IT/AI , apply early as these branches fill quickly. You may get these branches in Tier-2 colleges.
