After 12th, the first thing you should do for MBBS is:

1. Prepare for NEET exam – This is the only entrance test for MBBS in India.

2. Register and apply for NEET when the application form is released.

3. Focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for NEET preparation.

4. After NEET, appear for counselling based on your rank.

5. Choose a medical college and complete admission formalities.

NEET is compulsory for MBBS in India or abroad.
