My 12th CBSE percentage is 70% but I have got JEE score as 99.7 percentile. Am I eligible to apply NIT Trichy? I am confused on the 75% minimum cut off for CBSE board 12th class. Please help me.

Hello Aspirant,

To be eligible for NITs one needs at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to the general category.

official eligibility criteria states "Students should have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 75% marks or they should be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam (65% for SC/ST candidates)"
