Dear Aspirant,
First of all, this is just a general prediction based on what the last year trends were. It is not possible to predict the exact situation as it depends on the number of students willing to take admission and the seat matrix of the college.
CSE is one of the most preferred branch and hence it is quite competitive.
AEEE rank
THe previous year cutoffs for CSE have been around 6 K and even for the state quota it has been around 13 K. You have a small chance of getting CSE in Amrita if you have state quota in one of the campuses.
JEE MAINS
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
Only 30 percentage of seats in Amrita are rserved for JEE and hence the competition is quite high. You'll need atleast 97 + percentile to get CSE.
As CSE branches are competitive it hard to get into Private colleges that accept JEE scores. You'll need 95+ percentile to get CSE in private colleges.
Similarly it is quite hard for you to get into NITs as well. You can NIT Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh if you home state quota.
Hence, the chances for you to get a CSE is pretty low but you have a good chance of a state college is accepting your JEE ranks as they tend to have a lot of seats for the students belonging to the homestate.
If you have 98+ percentage in board exam you have a good chance of getting into private colleges.
