According to the previous year, cutoff ranks for top NITs you can easily get a Mechanical seat in any NIT. But it is a bit tough to get a CSE. Hence except NIT Trichy, you can easily get a mechanical branch in Top NITs with OBC AIR 2316 as last year cutoff rank for the mechanical engineering branch was 2178 for OBC Category. Hence you can check last year's cutoffs of Institutions and branches here.

NIT SURAT: 16856

NIT HAMIRPUR: 3046

NIT JALANDHAR: 2890

MNIT JAIPUR: 2034(SOME CHANCES)

NIT KURUKSHETRA: 2265(SOME CHANCES)

NIT RAIPUR: 3110
