With 76 percentile in JEE MAINS, your brother would have gotten a rank more than 200k.
Even if he is an ST candidate with the Home state quota, then also he needs a rank near 164k to get admission in CS branch till the last round.
For a rank above 164k, 85+ percentile is needed in JEE-Mains.
As far as NIT is concerned, there is almost null chances of getting CS there.
He could try for any other branch though, and depending upon the cut off this year, he might land at a good branch at a good college.

See first of all qualifying for JEE ADVANCED has nothing to do with getting NITs or any other govt college other than IITs for pursuing his higher studies in field of his interest under btech courses. His marks is not enough for him to bag a seat in the good colleges like NITs IIITs or GFTIs for his btech career. He should be going for private Institution. I m providing u a link for ur help.
