If I am being very honest, with 179k obc rank chances of getting a college is low. At least through JOSAA counselling you won’t be getting any. Hope you understand, that the rank is too high, and the competition is too much. Now you can wait for the CSAB counselling, but I cannot guarantee you anything, as this round is generally very unpredictable.

Or you can go for private colleges by appearing in their entrance tests which they take separately. Some renowned private colleges are - SRM, BITS, VIT, KIIT, Lovely Professional University etc.
