I regret to inform you that, according to the NIFT Last Merit Rank List, 3000 was the minimal rank for a seat at NIFT Raebareli in the B.Des. in Leather Design for General category. The cutoff for other NIFT institutes was even higher.

Don't worry, though. If you want to pursue a UG study in Fashion Technology, you can apply to private colleges such as Amity School of Fashion Technology in Noida, which offers merit-based admission through a written exam and a personal interview.
