Your rank is quite good you have a chance of getting into Nits irrespective of the branch, but yeas you can get admission into the Nits with this rank, if you go till the last rounds of counseling you might even get some the best branch in top college.

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the good NITs until and unless you are female as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can get some of the lower NITs like NIT Sikkim, NIT Agartala and so on if you deserves Home State quota.
