My daughter has secured 291 in neet this year. Can she get a seat to study mbbs?

hi sir your daughter definately has a chance in getting into a medical college. but, it will not be under 15% quota. you can try for private seats in the domicile state you belong to. even then if you didnt get a seat the state examinations autorities will release the colleges where the seats are empty with the respective contacts after the mop up round

To be honest this year your daughter doesn't stand any chance because she need to score at least 50% to get a seat, even in some infamous private college. India has a total of around 62000+ seats and 300 marks go well above 100000 rank.


You could try deemed universities but the fees is extremely high, around 14-18 lakhs/annum. Also, remember that not every MBBS student becomes a successful doctor. You can try BDS, BHMS, BPth that too in top colleges in the country. These courses will undoubtedly have high value in future
