Firstly to be eligible for an upsc exam you need to hold a graduate degree from a recognised university.The minimum age to take the UPSC exam is 21 years which is common for all candidates. There are variations in the upper age limit as relaxations are provided to candidates belonging to different categories.

Maximum age limit for IAS for SC/ST – 37 years UPSC does not discriminate against candidates based on their scores in graduation. Hence, there is no minimum qualifying percentage as the IAS eligibility condition.In you are in your final year of graduation awaiting results, then you are also eligible to appear for UPSC preliminary Examination.
