Yes definitely its possible to study both if you can divide weekdays for GATE preparation and Weekends for other exams. However make sur eyou dont overlap syllabus and junble all basic concepts.

You can refer to top recommended books for GATE and give 10+mocks as safe strategy . Once you are confident enough you can go for AP SSC Examination mock exams.
