Hi,

Yes, it is valid in JOSAA councelling.

On 29th june the DU said that those students who do not have the new EWS certificate can upload and submit the older one for completing the registration. Such students, its also told that you can submit the new EWS certificate later  during document verification with valid Tehsildar Signature.

Ews certificate with signature from your tehsildar will be valid for DU application form this year too. So you don't have to worry about that.

  • The university also said, students who don't have EWS certificate they upload the acknowledge slip to complete the registration.
  • it also said that students can apply for a new income certificate and attach the acknowledge slip generated. However you have   to show  your certificate during certificate verification at DU.

Hope this helps.

All the best.
