Following below is the set of criteria set up by the authorities to avail the benefits of home state reservation in Jharkhand:

• Only local/permanent residents of Jharkhand would be eligible for the 85% state-reserved seats. Certificates for permanent residency will have to be furnished from the competent authorities.
• Domicile holders of Jharkhand, who have passed Class XII from Jharkhand Board would also be eligible.

Since you have completed your intermediate from Jharkhand, you would be eligible to get the benefits of home state reservation and appear for home state counselling.
