Hello dear

No there is no way to change his/her marks in current year.

He / she has a option that ; to give boards exam in next year again ( improvement exam ) along with jee mains and advanced.

Also he / she can not give jee advanced because cut off for general category is 89.7548849 ; so it is not possible to get into IIT in any way because admission will be based on jee advanced rank .

Good luck
