With your rank, you have a fair chance for admission in upper to middle tier NLU in case any vacancies arise. The Middle tier NLU's vacancies usually fill up till a rank of 3000. But this is only a probability in case a vacancy arises.

Seats are allotted to the candidates as per their NLUs’ choice-preference and based on their rank. In case any seat gets vacant, the preferred NLU on the higher preference of candidate’s choice will be allotted to them automatically.

Keep checking on the websites of all the NLUs, each NLU will release it’s cut off list for vacant seats on its website after CLAT closes its admission, most of the time people are not even aware of this, if possible keep checking everyday at least.
