The seat allotment is done on the basis of air,not on the basis of category ranks. So you should consider your general or all india rank for counselling. For each category some percentage of seats are reserved. When the allotment has been done on the basis of general ranks then the seats are allotted to reserved category students according to their general ranks.After all the open seats have been alloted then only reserved category seats are allotted .
