Hello,
Your expected rank will be around 31631.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100
Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.
In April session 1200000 candidates are expected to appear then your expected rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

In 2019 a candidate with rank 31792 belonging to General category secured seat  DR.B.R Ambedkar National Institute Technology, Jalandhar in chemical Engineering.
A candidate with rank 42411 secured seat in textile technology in the same.
A candidate with rank 39381 secured seat in Industrial and Production engineering in the same.
You may also get seat in
  • MNIT, Jaipur
  • NIT, Agartala
  • NIT, Calicut
  • NIT, Durgapur

However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

Hello aspirant,

For desired college in nits , you need to get more than 98 plus percentile . You can also get nit with 96.36 percentile but it will be the new nits.

I would say that prepare yourself more and give the april session exam with potential so as to get your desired college. To calculate your rank , you can use this formula :-

(100- your percentile) × 869010/100

So your rank is almost 31632 which make a chance for nit.

You can predict your rank through the link given below.

Dear aspirant,

From your percentile your rank would be near 40000 and for general category this rank is not enough to get you in any NIT you may have some chance in your home and it if your home and it is lower and it like NIT Uttarakhand etc in lower branches.

You can also expect some colleges like:-

College of engineering and Technology Pantnagar

LNMIIT Rajasthan

If you are home state candidate of Delhi you can also try for DTU and IIIT Delhi.
