A rank of 1,70,000 in CRL is a low of a rank. Due to the competition increasing by the minute everyday, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. Hence, unfortunately you might not be able to get a branch like computer science or information technology in jabalpur engineering college.

However, since you have mentioned that your category is obc and there is home quota reservation, the chances of you getting into the university are bit visible. But branch wise you might beable to get chemical or civil engineering.. Computer Science Engineering is a course that is very much in demand and much sought after course and the chances are very low.  There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into. Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities.
