Well, your chances of getting a specific college through JEE main, depends on your category also, and sometimes your homestate. So, if I can know these, I will be able to give you a precise answer.

With a rank of 56789, and if you're General, your chances of getting an NIT/IIIT is very less. But, if you have any reservation, the case will be different. And, you always have a higher chance of getting a seat in your Homestate NIT under HS quota. So, check the cutoff of that NIT, for your category. Use this link for that.
