It is difficult to get cse in NITs with your rank.
There are only 3000 seats of NIT and 1000 seats of IIT comes under EWS category but there are huge number of candidate which comes under this category.
Problem with this category is that more than 70-80 percent candidate comes under this as income level is below 8 lacks.Though you get good percentile but at this moment we cant say too much about significance of this quota how much helps you in getting CSE.

But you may get some other branches(But not in top NITs). Getting branches like CSE, ECE is a difficult.But Make all the papers  ready and attend the counselling.
